She has competed both as a soloist and in group numbers across North America since the age of 7, including Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  She was also a Dance Teacher at the Ovations-Ronda Copeland School of Dance from 2011-2016.

Classes:

Pre-school ballet and jazz (ages 3-4)

An introduction to dance using imagination incorporating the basics of ballet and jazz technique. Students will develop their understanding of musicality, through a variety of songs, games, and props.  A combination of many dance forms will be used so students will gain a better understanding of rhythm, movement, and space building strength and flexibility.

Jazz (5 & up)

This is an energetic dance form that combines current dance and music with trends and technique. The classes consist of a warm-up, steps and techniques and various dance combinations.  Jazz can be interpreted as powerful, expressive and lyrical.  Based on jazz technique, dancers work to achieve various jumps, turns, as well as increase their flexibility.  Three levels will be offered. Level 1, ages 5-6, Level 2, ages 7-8, and Level 3, ages 9-12.

Tap (5 & up)

Tap develops precision, coordination and rhythm.  Classical and funk are styles that are covered with emphasis on students working to build their dance movements, and quality of sound and technique.  There is always a warm-up at the beginning of each class.  Three levels are offered. Level 1, ages 5-6, Level 2, ages 7-8, and Level 3, ages 9-12.

Hip Hop (5 & up)

It’s a fun, high energy dance form, which combines street style with some jazz. Dance to the music of hip hop, rap, some R&B, and occasionally pop.  Participants with no dance experience can pick this style up and just come out and get some exercise, have some fun, and gain more musicality and learn some dance moves. All classes start with a warm-up.
